The freedom and liberty to use technology to its full potential have slowly turned from a privilege to a necessity as we become more interconnected.

UkraineThe Help Ukraine Connect Fund, 2022
The Airalo team set up the Help Ukraine Connect Fund to support the millions of Ukrainians displaced by war. Funds raised go directly to Ukrainians needing access to data during these difficult times.
MyanmarThe Civil Unrest in Myanmar, 2021
During the civil unrest and conflict in Myanmar, telecom availability was sparse, with most citizens unable to access essential SIM resources. Fortunately, Airalo’s eSIM services were still running. We rapidly became the leading solution for data in the region. Airalo dedicated time, money, and resources to keep Myanmar connected to the rest of the world.
AustraliaThe Australian Wildfires, 2020
The Airalo team mobilized to create a relief fund, with all proceeds of Australian eSIM sales going to those most affected by the tragic natural disaster of Australia’s wildfires.
Education
Airalo's Children Fund was an initiative born out of collaboration with Children International, a global non-profit child sponsorship organization.
The Airalo Fund finances children in developing countries - helping to supply food, water, shelter, and education. Our goal is to sponsor a new child for every employee who joins the company, and by growing Airalo, we hope to build a better future for these children.
Clean Water
Airalo sponsored the rural town of Babou, Cameroon, building a well in the town center.
Every day in rural communities throughout Africa, millions of people suffer from the lack of access to clean, safe water. Globally, 1 in 9 people still have no access to clean water, but in many African regions, it's 8 out of 9. Water is a daily and crippling challenge. Without water, you can't grow food, you can't stay healthy, you can't go to school, and you can't keep working. For school-aged children, it's a burden that traps them in poverty. Access to safe water will break the first barrier to a better life and turn problems into potential — unlocking education, economic opportunity, and improved health.
Environmental Sustainability
Plastic places a tremendous strain on the planet, and we're proud to have built a product that massively reduces the need for plastic SIM cards and their packaging.
Over 4 billion SIM cards are manufactured each year; that equates to millions of tonnes of plastic being used and discarded, gallons of fuel, and increasingly limited resources utilized in the manufacturing process.
As the rest of the world strives to adopt more sustainable manufacturing and distribution practices, Airalo is committed to constantly finding new and innovative ways to reduce our own carbon footprint.
